Treats and an almost 2-year-old

I realized that so much has happened since our trip to Colorado (like the rest of October and half of November), so I figured it was time to type up another post. The last trimester of this pregnancy makes the already short days/weeks, much shorter. So here's what we've been up to...

Playdate with Sidney Supreme

Pumpkin Patch with Mom and the Jacobs'

And the search for the perfect pumpkins begin

Solon's is on the left, mine is on the right

On October 27, one of my best friends welcomed her 2nd child, Morgan Kay Reese, to the world. Christina, Aaron & big brother Tyler are loving their new addition. Solon, Quincy & I were able to go to the hospital to meet her and she was just precious and smelled so good! Christina and I had our sons 6 weeks apart, and it has been awesome to watch them grow so much these first 2 years. Now we will have daughters that are about 11 weeks apart as well! Take a look at this beautiful little girl.

On Halloween, we had some of Quincy's friends over for a Trick-or-Treat Playdate, co-hosted with our friend Danielle.

It was so much fun to see the kids all dressed up in their costumes, and it gave me an excuse to put together a dessert table for the occasion.

Quincy (the urban cowboy) & Eve (Mao Zedong) anxiously awaited their guests

Breaking the piƱata

The day after Halloween, Quincy and I had coffee with Elizabeth who was in town briefly - we used to work together in Promotions!

Right after we had a 3D ultrasound to check out our baby girl - check out her foot

She was sleeping on her arm!

Quincy loves his flannel pants, and drinking from Daddy's water cup

And loves story time with Daddy, too

Here I am at 25 weeks, 3 days

And at 30 weeks, 3 days

This past weekend, I made up some treats for Alaina's Mad Hatter Birthday Party

And then we started to get the nursery ready

Taking a break

With 8 weeks to go, we are trying to get everything ready before baby girl comes along. With Thanksgiving next week, Quincy's birthday 2 weeks after that, and Christmas 2 weeks after that, the weeks will pass quickly and she will be here before we know it! We are getting excited for her arrival - we can't wait to meet this little girl.
